Florence/Henry and Arlington are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Florence/Henry Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Arlington Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Florence/Henry is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Even though Alcester-Hudson scored an imposing 55 points on Saturday, Florence/Henry still came out on top. Florence/Henry snuck past Alcester-Hudson with a 61-55 victory. The victory was just what Florence/Henry needed coming off of a 80-36 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Arlington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-38 defeat at the hands of Elkton/Lake Benton.
Florence/Henry is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Florence/Henry against Arlington in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 63-18 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Florence/Henry since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
