Jackson North Side has gone a perfect 10-0 against Liberty Tech Magnet recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Indians will welcome the Crusaders at 5:40 p.m. The last three games Jackson North Side has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
While Jackson North Side's victory against West Carroll wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the War Eagles on Thursday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the War Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Austin Allen looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jackson North Side is 3-1 when Allen allows one or fewer hits, but 8-11 otherwise.
At the plate, Courtland Parks was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Spann, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Meanwhile, Liberty Tech Magnet hadn't done well against Middleton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Crusaders came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 7-4.
The team relied heavily on Jacob Ward, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Caleb Jones, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
The win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 4-12. As for Jackson North Side, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
Jackson North Side got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Liberty Tech Magnet by a conclusive 21-3 score. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Crusaders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
