King's Christian and Gloucester County Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Knights will square off against the Conquerors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
King's Christian will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Calvary Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Knights blew past the Warrior 15-5 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Knights have posted against the Warrior since May 23, 2022.

Bridet Levandoski made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ava Garcia was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Ada PIckard was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
King's Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gloucester County Christian). Everything went their way against Cumberland Christian on Monday as they made off with an 18-3 victory. The Conquerors haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Like King's Christian, Gloucester County Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Jordan Burger. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Burger was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases and four runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.3 runs per game.
In other batting news, Molly McCallister was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Alaina Aloi, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
The victory got Gloucester County Christian back to even at 4-4. As for King's Christian, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.
Everything went King's Christian's way against Gloucester County Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as King's Christian made off with an 18-2 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Conquerors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
