EAGLEVILLE, Tenn. - After taking the lead in the fourth quarter, 
Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, Tenn.) held on for a 20-17 victory over 
Eagleville (Tenn.) on Saturday. The difference for the Red Devils was that they ran for a touchdown.
After trailing 7-0 at the half, the Eagles went ahead on a 
Chris Hale touchdown run with 9:00 left in the fourth. Jo Byrns finally took the lead for good when they ran for a touchdown with 3:00 left in the fourth quarter.
JB saw its 7-point halftime lead fall to five entering the fourth.
The final score was a stunner, as the Cedar Hill school was ranked No. 216 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Tennessee, far below Eagleville's spot at No. 149.
The defeat comes as a step back for Eagleville, which notched a 42-6 victory over Huntland in its previous outing. The loss snapped Eagleville's three-game winning streak.
