The Dobson Mustangs will be playing at home against the Westwood Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Dobson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday.
Even though Dobson has not done well against Mountain View recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Dobson managed a 55-50 victory over Mountain View. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dobson.
Donovan Beard continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with five assists and three steals. He hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Demetrius Malone was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Westwood suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 54-25 loss at the hands of Mesa. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Westwood in their matchups with Mesa: they've now lost eight in a row.
The victory got Dobson back to even at 9-9. As for Westwood, they bumped their record down to 5-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Dobson strolled past Westwood in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 55-36. Does Dobson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
