Gladwin's Demetri Trice recorded the longest rushing play in Jack Pine this season in his game against Shepherd last week. Trice ran for 53 yards on the play and finished with 68 on the day as his team beat the Bluejays.
Meridian scaled the state rankings by moving to 279 from 373 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Mustangs climbed the ranks as a result of besting Bullock Creek 26-22.
Colton Punches was a passing and rushing force as Clare lost to Freeland. He completed 5 passes for 98 yards and also ran for 61 yards. Punches' favorite target this week was Joe Huston, who caught 2 passes for 69 yards.
T.J. Murringer was a key player and the best on defense this week as Roscommon lost to Grayling. The 6-foot-0 sophomore nabbed 2 interceptions.
