Zachary entered their tilt with Plaquemine on Monday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Plaquemine Green Devils 14-1. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 12 runs or more this season.

Zachary's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Plaquemine, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zachary will host Scotlandville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plaquemine, they will square off against Tara at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plaquemine has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
