Plainfield South fell victim to Joliet West and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They took  a  4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. Considering the last time the Cougars couldn't score was  back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.
Plainfield South's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-12. As for Joliet West, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-20 record  this season.
