Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Michael Webster and Seth Harris Lead Western Guilford to Victory

On TuesdayWestern Guilford's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Southwest Guilford Cowboys 66-63. While the Hornets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Leading Western Guilford to victory were Seth Harris and Michael Webster. Harris dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Webster went 7 of 13 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds. Harris' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Crespo, who posted nine points.

Western Guilford was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Western Guilford's record is now 6-0. As for Southwest Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Western Guilford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 82-59 defeat against West Forsyth on the 11th. As for Southwest Guilford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 80-71 win against Southeast Guilford on the 13th.
