After flying high against Lake Norman Charter  on Tuesday, Central Cabarrus came back down to earth. The Vikings took  an  8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Rowan Falcons on Thursday. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.
  Tess Hedrick was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Haley Rezy was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
Central Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for West Rowan, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the  win, which was their 13th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Cabarrus will host South Rowan  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for West Rowan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Rowan  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
