Morrilton had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Russellville on Thursday. Morrilton was the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over Russellville. The victory continues a trend for the Devil Dogs in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won five in a row.
