Shades Valley found a leader in Eli Nelson as the squad took down Minor on Monday. Nelson struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Nelson and Shades Valley will head out on the road to square off against Parker at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mounties are a perfect 4-0 against the Thundering Herd going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
