Newfane won the last time they faced Tonawanda and Mac Capen did his part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 43-19 margin over the Timberwolves on Thursday thanks in part to Capen, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last five games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Newfane and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Tonawanda, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Newfane will head out to challenge Barker at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tonawanda, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Depew at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
