Caden Sandlin was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 45 points and nine steals. Sandlin is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Noah Doddy, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Dallas International, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were outmatched by Wylie Prep Academy on the road and fell 87-15. Dallas International was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 60-6.
Garland Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Dallas International, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
