Washington continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Amyah Hedrick was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Port Gibson's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Vicksburg, the last time they lost on the road was back last Saturday. Having now won six straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 2-9.
Port Gibson will face off against Florence at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Florence has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Vicksburg, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Yazoo City at 6:00 p.m. Yazoo City is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
