Calhoun has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Marion Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Calhoun focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 39 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Calhoun was able to grind out a solid win over Hatch, taking the game 44-32. The win was just what Calhoun needed coming off of a 47-20 loss in their prior matchup.
Calhoun's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Layla Gary, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 steals. Lillian Timmons was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 steals.
Meanwhile, Marion suffered a tough 54-32 defeat at the hands of Central on Tuesday.
The losses dropped Calhoun to 3-4 and Hatch to 0-2.
