After losing to Fredericktown the last time they met, Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Central Rebels put the hurt on the Fredericktown Black Cats with a sharp 39-18 victory on Saturday. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Fredericktown had strong showings from Calie Allgier, who posted eight points, and Amelia Miller, who put up four points and six boards. Allgier is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Teagan Stevens also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Central's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Fredericktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Central has already played their next matchup (against Arcadia Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fredericktown, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-42 victory against Perryville on the 17th.
