Oak Hill is 8-2 against Dirigo since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Raiders will head out to face off against the Cougars at 11:00 a.m. Oak Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Oak Hill is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Hall-Dale on Thursday. They fell 5-2 to the Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Oak Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Whitaker, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Dirigo entered their tilt with Madison on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Bulldogs. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Dirigo pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Oak Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Oak Hill took their win against Dirigo in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 13-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
