Troy Christian has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Milton-Union Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Troy Christian didn't have too much trouble with Dayton Christian at home as they won 50-32.
Meanwhile, Milton-Union had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Brookville with a sharp 53-31 win. Milton-Union has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jenna Brumbaugh, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Berberich, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Troy Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Milton-Union, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
