The Naples Golden Eagles will take on the Evangelical Christian Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evangelical Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Naples, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Naples made easy work of Golden Gate and carried off a 9-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

RYAN DUMAS spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, KEVIN ORTEGA and CHARLIE REIGER did most of the damage at the plate: ORTEGA went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while REIGER scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave REIGER a new career-high. NICO BLANCO was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Naples always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Golden Gate only posted an OBP of .231.
Meanwhile, Evangelical Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Petersburg Catholic.
Harlan Haugen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.
Naples has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. Evangelical Christian now has a losing record of 8-9.
Naples couldn't quite finish off Evangelical Christian when the teams last played back in February and fell 5-3. Will Naples have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
