Devils Lake put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They wrapped up 2024 with a 69-54 victory over the Red River Roughriders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Firebirds also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Devils Lake pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Red River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Devils Lake will face off against Four Winds/Minnewaukan at 4:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Red River, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fargo South at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Red River is facing Fargo South at the right time seeing as Fargo South is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
