The result was an unpleasant reminder to Polk County of the 50-47 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on January 5th.
Sweetwater's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lilly Woodruff, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Kylie Baylog was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Polk County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Sweetwater, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13.
