Basketball Recap: Garden Plain Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Garden Plain waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Southeast of Saline Trojans 58-41. This was payback for the Owls, who suffered a 48-44 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Southeast of Saline still got an impressive performance from Gannon Jacobson, who posted 14 points and three steals. Jacobson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games he's played. Caden Parry was another key player, putting up four points.

Garden Plain pushed their record up to 12-8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points over those games. As for Southeast of Saline, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

As of now, neither Garden Plain nor Southeast of Saline have any future games scheduled.
