Santiam had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Regis 52-6. That result is just more of the same for Santiam, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Santiam a 1-0 record and starting Regis off at 0-1.
Next week, Santiam take on Heppner at 7:00 PM. Regis are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Kennedy next week at 7:00 PM.
