On Friday, The Rancho Christian Eagles got themselves on the board against the Canyon Springs Cougars, but the Canyon Springs Cougars never followed suit. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over the Cougars. Rancho Christian's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Blake Nadler was a one-man wrecking crew for Rancho Christian as he threw for 298 yards and six touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Jonathan Alexander did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 128 receiving yards.
Rancho Christian's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Leading the way was Desmond Nana agyei and his two sacks.
Rancho Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Canyon Springs, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Christian will take on Moreno Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canyon Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Adelanto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Adelanto presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Canyon Springs in California (Adelanto is ranked 338th, while Canyon Springs is ranked 720th).
