The Key West Conchs won against the Marathon Dolphins last Monday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Key West walked away with a 61-49 victory over Marathon. The win made it back-to-back wins for Key West.
It was another big night for James Osborne, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Tramane Scott, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Marathon still got an impressive performance from DAESHAWN HOLMES, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks. HOLMES hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of JOSH KOLER, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
The victory got Key West back to even at 8-8. As for Marathon, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
Key West won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against MAST Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Marathon, they will be playing at home against Coral Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
