Adena dropped down to 3-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Unioto Shermans, falling 45-0. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

As for Unioto, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 46.7 points this season.

Unioto had a senior duo take command as Cody Braden rushed for 70 yards and two TDs on only eight carries and Tye Woods rushed for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Braden has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Adena will square off against rival Westfall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Unioto is set to take on their familiar foe Zane Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Shermans 3.5, the Pioneers 10.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
