Imbler added to the longest winning streak in 1A Special District 4 (8 Man) this week by beating Perrydale, 59-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Panthers.
Imbler took down the Pirates 59-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kyle Johnson threw for 80 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 142 yards in the win.
Imbler's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 1,879 yards and 28 touchdowns this season, while Joe Griffin has 27 catches for 719 yards.
Going into this week's contest against Triad, Lee Lowe's team's Johnson needs 121 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
The Panthers led the league in scoring this week by notching 59 points on Perrydale. Johnson ran for 142 yards during the win.
