They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Orestimba on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for Wheatland who now have six in a row.
Wheatland is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2-3 record this season. As for Orestimba, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9-4.
Wheatland will face off against Natomas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wheatland is coming into the matchup with four straight victories on the road, so Natomas is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Orestimba does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
