The Peck Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Sandusky Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Peck put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They really took it to North Huron for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-31 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Peck has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Peck to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thomas West, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals. West is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cal Heiden, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Brown City scored an imposing 60 points on Wednesday, Sandusky still came out on top. Sandusky took their game against Brown City 70-60. The win was familiar territory for Sandusky who now have three in a row.
Peck's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Sandusky, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
