Checotah entered their tilt with Okemah on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Wildcats have won eight games by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Checotah's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Okemah, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Checotah will square off against Spiro at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Okemah, they will face off against Mounds at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
