After two weeks on the road, Northern Heights is heading back home. On Friday they take on Centralia at 7:00 PM. Northern Heights are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Northern Heights were able to grind out a solid win over Lyndon last Friday, winning 21-12. Senior Marcus Waters was the offensive standout of the match for Northern Heights, as he picked up 99 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs. In fact, with ten tackles Waters was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Centralia had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 36-22 victory over Troy.
Their wins bumped Centralia to 3-2 and Northern Heights to 2-3. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Centralia and Northern Heights clash.
