The Smithtown Christian Knights came tearing into  Tuesday's  matchup with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Shelter Island 74-40 at home. Smithtown Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four  games by 20  points or more this season.
 Smithtown Christian got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Lorenzo Crilly out in front who  scored 26 points.  Nehemiah Yuen was another key contributor,  scoring 18 points.
 Smithtown Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Shelter Island, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
 Smithtown Christian will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Southold at 6:15  p.m. Shelter Island on the road again  on Friday and play against Greenport at 5:45  p.m.  on January 19th.
