Faith Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rochester Hills Christian. If Faith Christian hoped to take revenge for the 49-30 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Faith Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Paul Thompson, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mark Kincer, who scored eight points.
Faith Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Rochester Hills Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
Faith Christian will head out on the road to challenge Faith Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Zech Gartrelle and Micah Kaynor. As for Rochester Hills Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bethany Christian at 7:00 p.m. Bethany Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
