Fletcher has gone a perfect 4-0 against Blair recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. Fletcher knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Blair likes a good challenge.
Fletcher barely beat Lawton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Wolverines 10-0 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 13 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Nathan Mahan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last four contests. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Rayce Stoll and EJ Squyres did most of the damage at the plate: Stoll scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Squyres scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. What's more, Squyres posted two RBI, the most he's had over his last seven matchups. Elijah Cagle was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.
Fletcher was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .417 or higher in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Blair came up short against Sayre on Tuesday, falling 13-6. The Broncos have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Blake Martin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Christian Castillo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Fletcher has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Blair, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
Everything went Fletcher's way against Blair when the teams last played back in March of 2023, as Fletcher made off with an 11-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
