The South Point Pointers will be playing at home against the Southeastern Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Point will be strutting in after a win while Southeastern will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Raceland scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, South Point still came out on top. South Point walked away with a 66-59 victory over Raceland. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Point.
Meanwhile, Southeastern's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Unioto at home and fell 59-21. Southeastern has not had much luck with Unioto recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
South Point's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-8. As for Southeastern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.
Everything went South Point's way against Southeastern in their previous matchup back in February of 2019 as South Point made off with a 44-24 win. Does South Point have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southeastern turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
