Softball Recap: Mccomb Wins Going Away Against Kalida

McComb barely beat Kalida the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Wildcats 15-8 on Thursday. Considering the Panthers have won four matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for McComb and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Kalida, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

McComb wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-1 loss against Elmwood on the 28th. As for Kalida, they have also already played their next match, a 5-4 defeat against Leipsic on the 26th.
