The Wright City Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 69-38 defeat at the hands of Lebanon. While losing is never fun, Wright City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 396th, while Lebanon is ranked 111th).
Lebanon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kory Hough out in front who scored 17 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hough has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Boggs, who scored 17 points.
Wright City's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-7. As for Lebanon, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wright City will take on Mark Twain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lebanon, they will head out on the road to face off against West Plains at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
