BASIS Flagstaff was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Shonto Prep on Tuesday. The BASIS Flagstaff Yetis blew past the Shonto Prep Grizzlies, posting a 60-30 victory. The Yetis have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

BASIS Flagstaff got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexei Barrow out in front who went 5 of 8 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Barrow a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Quiroz, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 14 points.

BASIS Flagstaff was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

BASIS Flagstaff moved to 10-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Shonto Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
