The Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors won against the Jefferson Dragons on Thursday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Bayshore Christian managed a 57-51 victory over Jefferson. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bayshore Christian.
Bayshore Christian was led to victory by Tylan Lewis and Jace Jreisat. Lewis scored 19 points, while Jreisat scored 23 points. The contest was Jreisat's 16th in a row with at least ten points. Will Stayte was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Jefferson's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emanuel Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Darron Hannah, who scored eight points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Bayshore Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bayshore Christian and Sports Leadership & Management will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sports Leadership & Management has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 763 points over their last 11 games. Jefferson's road trip will continue as they head out to face Blake at 8:00 p.m. on January 9th. Blake will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
