The Alliance Aviators's game on Wednesday was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Fairless by a score of 43-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alliance in their matchups with Fairless: they've now lost four in a row.
Leading Fairless to victory were Ella Wade and Zoey Steele. Wade scored 10 points, while Steele scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaileigh Price, who scored 6 points.
Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Fairless, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Alliance will head out on the road to face off against GlenOak at 1:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairless, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Manchester at 7:00 p.m.
