West Craven was led to victory by Shalawn Yates and Torvonyah Heggie. Yates dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Heggie dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Heggie's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Alissa Yates was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals.
The victory for West Craven keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for New Bern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

As for New Bern, they will head out on the road to face off against Havelock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Havelock is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
