The Casady Cyclones will be playing in front of their home fans against the Prague Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Casady's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups.
Last Thursday, Casady didn't have too much trouble with Epic Charter at home as they won 71-52.
It was another big night for Bryson Buckingham, who scored 29 points along with six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Casady's points. Ethan Nedio was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Prague's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Meeker 57-53.
Casady is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Prague, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-14.
Casady didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Prague in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, but they still walked away with a 80-74 victory. Will Casady repeat their success, or does Prague have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
