Linden is a perfect 10-0 against Swartz Creek since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will host the Dragons at 4:00 p.m. Linden is coming into the match hot, having won their last 14 games.
Linden is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Kearsley get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Addi Siegwald (2027), who went 2-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Sophia Helm (2025) was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Linden kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Swartz Creek hadn't done well against Holly recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Dragons had just enough and edged out the Bronchos 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dragons have posted since April 30, 2024.
Avery Nuffer was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Pier, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Linden's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Swartz Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Linden hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .371. However, it's not like Swartz Creek struggles in that department as they've averaged .334. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Linden took their victory against Swartz Creek in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 14-2 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dragons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
