The Atkins Camels will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the North Forsyth Vikings at 7:30  p.m. Atkins comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
 Last Friday, Atkins took a serious blow against West Forsyth, falling  86-50.
 Despite their  defeat, Atkins saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Laithan  Atkins, who  scored 10 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was  Zachary  Sodt, who  scored 9 points.
 Meanwhile, North Forsyth gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Wednesday. They secured a  57-53 W over Forbush.
 R.J. Reynolds' win bumped their  season record to 0-0 while Atkins' loss dropped theirs to 0-2.
 Everything came up roses for Atkins against North Forsyth when the teams last played  back in February of 2021 as the  team secured a  67-25 win. Will Atkins repeat their success,  or does  North Forsyth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
