Big Sandy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Green, who scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Garrett Cagle, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Gleason now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Big Sandy, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Gleason will be playing in front of their home fans against West Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Carroll is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Big Sandy, they will head out on the road to face off against Hughes at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
