The High Point Academy Grizzlies won the last time they faced the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. High Point Academy breezed by Spartanburg Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 72-21. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-8.
High Point Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was J'Sean Sanders out in front who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Sortor, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
High Point Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
High Point Academy will head out on the road to face off against Oakbrook Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Oakbrook Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Monday. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northside Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Northside Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
