Tuttle led 3A District 1 in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Elgin.
Marlow made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,575 from 3,550. The advance stemmed from a 13-6 victory over Sulphur last week.
Jones's dynamic duo of Clayton Sims and Terik Leniger proved tough for Oklahoma Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sims threw for 217 yards and 3 touchdowns and Leniger had 104 yards receiving. Levi Fox helped Jones' passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 59 yards.
The Longhorns' dynamic duo of Sims and Leniger proved to be unstoppable against the Saints, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Braden Stringer was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 185 yards on 25 carries as Blanchard lost to Oklahoma Christian. Blake Owen also contributed to the rushing game with 74 yards on the ground.
Sims put up the best numbers in passing as Dave Martin's team fell to Derek Turner's team.
He was 14-45 with 1 interception.
Leniger was the best receiver in the league this week as the Longhorns fell to the Saints.
Jones' Sims and Leniger have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 3A District 1 in both passing and receiving yards. Sims has thrown for 578 yards this season, while Leniger has 6 catches for 188 yards. The Lions' Stringer leads the league in rushing yards with 624.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Blanchard takes on Little Axe. Jeff Craig's team is currently in second, while the Indians are in fourth.
The league will see a high scoring game when the Lions and Little Axe face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Blanchard comes in having scored 122 this season, while Ted Dorrell's team has scored 102. The Lions scored 28 points last week as they defeated Newcastle.
Dell Lynn broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 72-yard run against Tecumseh. The Indians fell to the Savages, Lynn finishing the game with 72 yards rushing.
