The Wabash Apaches can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against North Miami by a score of 56-47. For Wabash, this counts as revenge for the 62-53 loss North Miami walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Wabash's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaitlynn Honeycutt led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kierra Wilson, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.
Wabash's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11. As for North Miami, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Taylor the next time they take the court. North Miami will head out to face Taylor at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, while Wabash will host them at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
