Laney Barton was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 21 points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Davis, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Even though Governor Thomas Johnson has not done well against the Lancers recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Governor Thomas Johnson simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lancers 63-35 on the road. Governor Thomas Johnson can attribute much of their success to Tamanii Littles, who scored six points along with seven rebounds, and Riley Kelly, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
